Will SimpleOS run on my device?

SimpleOS for Windows Mobile works with any device VGA (640x48) and QVGA (320x240) running one of

• Windows Mobile® 6.0
• Windows Mobile® 5.0 for Smartphone
• Windows Mobile® 5.0 for Pocket PC
• Windows Mobile® 2003 for Pocket PC

SimpleOS for Windows Mobile PocketPC is for devices that have a touch screen and a stylus, including brands such as Toshiba, HP iPAQs, Dell Axim, and several HTC models.

The best way to find out if SimpleOS will run on your device is to download demo version and try it!

Will SimpleOS erase my PDA flash?

No, SimpleOS will install as a normal Windows Mobile application.

What applications run on SimpleOS?

There thousands of Windows Mobile applications available. All of them will run including .NET CF applications which can be cross-compiled directly for SimpleOS, see developer's guide.

What is my Device ID?

Device ID can be found by downloading and installing this application or by clicking "Abort" button during license prompt.

What is a License Key?

The License Key is 8-character code that will be provided to you when you purchase SimpleOS license. Enter the License Key into the registration screen by clicking "Retry"

I lost/broke my device - do I have to buy another copy for my new device?

During purchase you are provided with 2 unique license keys. If you have replaced your original hardware with a new device, we will not be able to provide you with a new license Key.
